    ... The Fair, which was held at the local High School was incredible with almost a hundred stalls, selling wares, doing handicraft displays or selling ethnic food. Several performance areas provided non stop entertainment from many cultures and the event attracted thousands of visitors.     ... And so young! Our lodge for the night was just outside of Pretoria /Johannesburg-10 million people! Franze was the owner -clearly a hunter- lots of mounts in the lodge! Relaxed and had a typical South African dinner - Baboti ( to us it was like spiced ground beef/ meat loaf) mashed potatoes and rice w gravy; wonderful pizza bread and not so wonderful "bananas w/ mayonnaise and sweetened condensed ...
