... that day and kindly offered to make an early start at 7.30 am, and drop me at Kyle by noon.

... happened since I started this.............the bike went on a truck to Falkirk, as the spoke in the rear wheel and come loose and one nut had gone missing, and they had corroded badly. Job done and recovered all under warranty. We got a ride from Plockton to Falkirk with Calum and Jane, which was great, and picked up the bike and were on the way again. ... windy, and brisk. REALLY brisk. We donned our raincoats and descended over the cliff to the lighthouse...and it was a bit of a walk. We shared the trip with a few hundred sheep. The wind was blowing hard and the mist was quite heavy.....very Scottish!

You are supposed to be able to see seals and whales from Neist Point, but we saw none today. And at times we couldn't even see the top of the bluff ...
