      ... here that we encountered a strange phenomena, a waterfall flowing backwards. Pic 19. The sky was sending a warning- Pic 20. Back across country we went for hot chocolate at a lovely cafe with great views and as we left were greeted with a perfect rainbow. Pic 21.       First stop - Victoria Falls! Not quite the spectacular falls John had been to in Africa but lovely to look at, quickly in the rain. Perhaps our luck with the weather had ended. Drove along the shore of Loch Maree and on to Shiedaig for coffee overlooking Loch Torridon.       6 degrees overnight but woke to sunny dry day. Walked from the camp up onto the cliff top nearby.       ... to look at the Commando Memorial and look out over the landscape. It was overcast and the rain began to come down in that soft Scottish way it does.
