Today we will be traveling over 230 miles. Our usual travel day is about 110 miles with stops at sightseeing places. Today there were no sightseeing places other than WC stops and lunch. ... abruptly from sea level and seem mighty. The mountains are all green, many with beautiful purple overlay at this time of year due to heather, The green is very rarely trees. Each viewpoint was more spectacular than the last. Some sights included huge lochs - others the ocean - others just mountainous glory. There was something awe-inspiring at every turn.

... happened since I started this.............the bike went on a truck to Falkirk, as the spoke in the rear wheel and come loose and one nut had gone missing, and they had corroded badly. Job done and recovered all under warranty. We got a ride from Plockton to Falkirk with Calum and Jane, which was great, and picked up the bike and were on the way again.
