... pictures from Morocco. I told her that I went to Spain to learn Spanish but instead I received my degree in Belly Dancing. How funny.
Tomorrow I will be going to my friend Maria (my Pachange intercambio partner's girlfriend) class at an institute to talk to her tourism class in English. That should be interesting. Then Saturday I'll be in Cordoba and Sunday studying for an exam on Monday. I hope I do good.
Hasta luego.
... have it replaced, but in hindsight I believe that is an American mentality (a tradition of America). I asked Alex if he thought it would be wrong for me to ask and he replied, "What have you got to lose?" which is the state of mind I like. So I went in and asked the bartender if I could exchange it and she was a little surprised and she asked her boss, and they exchanged it. When I went out of the bar with a beer in my hand the group ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands skivail89... ill but it was cheap and filled us up.
We went to a place called Montys bar where they had a live act on we thought it was going to be really cheesy but it turned out to be ok. Steve the man who was playing was really good and played lots of old classics man rock songs so Ian liked it and I enjoyed it to. We then stagered back to our room around midnight a little drunk again. Looks like we are fitting right in with this holiday.
... drive along the coast through Marbella and we even saw the rock of Gibralter as well. As we where travelling though you could not help but notice the strips of english bars and restaurants and we laughed about what we have got coming up.
We got the the centre of Torrimolinos and got a taxi to our hotel. Its ok the hotel is clean and we have a large kitchen and balcony not overlooking the pool but its ok ...
... terry and i fleweasy jet to malaga which is one of europes many budget airlines; we were within a couple kilos of our allowed baggage weight allotment so we arrived with our funds intact. the weather has been wonderful here except for one morning when we woke up to gale force winds but they soon died down by the afternoon. our friend carla arrived on wednesday after her long trek from san francisco to malaga via d.c., munich and rome. we've taken nice little walks along ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands cruiseone2003... whole different world. Everything is in Arabic and French, there´s hardly any english around (you should see the Coca Cola bottles). After a quick town overview, we stepped off the tour bus and into Morocco, and of course, the rain. We were quickly hustled towards the Kasbah while Moroccan street vendors tailed our group selling all kinds of umbrellas. Fortunately we brought our own, but that still didn´t stop some of the vendors from trying to sell us another. After a quick look ...
After breakfast and nice stroll on the beach, we head out to see the next city in the list which was Malaga. Malaga is very big compare to its size on the map :)
The trick is to head out to the old part of town to see the actions. Lots of architectures are dated back few years.
Cathedral as like the other places, is a must see in the old city. Small cobble stone alleys make it very nice and easy for walk.

... in to the hills and mountains. The countryside was clear streams, hills of olives and cork oaks as far as the eye could see, and the only sign of civilisation was the occasional sign warning us this was hunting land. Lucky I had coffee before leaving Al & Lizzie's!! We camped for the night on some land that we think was owned by a couple of hunters we spoke to further up the road - we think, anyway! If we understood ...
