... but we didn't think we needed another picture. The boat was glorious and the whistle that was blown was fantastically loud and a real old fashioned whistle that I could really hear if I was there back in the day. The inside of the boat had Art Deco light fixtures and was like a long dining hall with a bar. We didn't actually cook at the class we just listened to the history of Louisiana settlement and why it is necessary to eat lots of butter and cream! Apparently one CAN substitute lighter cream and use less butter but as the cook says, "Why"? The shrimp and artichoke soup was fabulous bot the crawfish etoufee was very ...

... flashing lights, vibrating seats and snow that fell from the ceiling. It was entertaining, but I gained little from it. I checked out the Boeing exhibit and it was full of planes hanging from the ceiling including a B-17 Flying Fortress that had crashed and was salvaged and rebuild for the exhibit. The submarine experience was here too and I made my way to the line up at my scheduled time. Everyone was allocated a station and we represented a crewman that was ...
