... flashing lights, vibrating seats and snow that fell from the ceiling. It was entertaining, but I gained little from it. I checked out the Boeing exhibit and it was full of planes hanging from the ceiling including a B-17 Flying Fortress that had crashed and was salvaged and rebuild for the exhibit. ... sung the American national anthem. Regardless of whether it's your country's national anthem or not, standing with hand on heart along side a few thousand people was extremely moving. New Orleans's Pelicans (former Charlotte Hornets) against the Chicago Bulls displayed an action packed game. 88-79 to the home team. An entertaining game, but just the start of our night out in New Orleans.

... at the end of the Canal Streetcar. We are surrounded by beautiful cemeteries :D
Our room has a four poster queen w/ memory foam.
He gave us a bottle of wine, fresh oranges and lemons from the garden, crouisants, peach and fig jelly, butter, whole cream, and chicory coffee.

We shared a glass of wine on the tree house, overlooking a 300 year old cemetery.

And on to Philly. The airline did that thing again where they delayed my first flight by so much I was doing a Black Caviar to the connecting flight in Dallas. Seems to be the American way, though. The only person slightly perturbed by the frequency with which this happens appeared to be me. Clashes with my slightly uber-organised streak.
