... and miss out seeing the Krk
Cathedral, so I toked here there to. Last but not least, we went to see Punats Franciscan
monastery on a small island in the centre of the inlet.
sailing around Krk was really pleasant and fun, and I am very happy that my
friend liked it. My only regret is that I didn’t get to show her the town of
Malinska, but that’s ok, we will definitely come back to Krk again.

... future bedrooms and bathrooms and in the afternoon Mike began learning how to chainsaw as I was able to assist Bruce with a therapeutic riding lesson and then got to hop on a horse myself while he was teaching one of the guests staying at the ranch. The goal of our lesson was to work on our "barbaric yells" as we raced across the paddocks. Too fun! Even Mike hopped on for a while though he wasn't quite feeling up to galloping around yelling like a lunatic as we were. ...

It is early Subota morning although not peaceful. Another large site inhabited principally by Germans. 7.30am and they are already up and about, swimming, cycling, walking, talking and shouting - tomorrow another move - back to Slovenia and its capital Ljubljana.

... the views are always fantastic. The ancient rock walling everywhere reminds you many, many people have carried on their business here over so many generations. We stumble across abandoned villages where the massive ivy vines are going about their business of reclaiming territory, we picnic by a rock labyrinth... we see Griffon Vultures. Massive-winged creatures riding the updrafts. Bloody brilliant.
