... ate melon and ham, and felt truly lucky to be in such a beautiful place.

Tonight we ate at a small café about a block from our condo and enjoyed the freshest seafood imaginable. I am now a huge fan of sea bass! The crispy skin and tender white flesh of this amazing fish can make me drool with happiness. Cory had salmon with herb sauce, also delicious, but nothing can compare to fresh sea bass. With ...

    Old Town, Lagos

... rock formations or dolphins, and go out fishing. Old town still has some of the very old, like 15th century, walls and an old military fort that guards the harbor. We're staying in a beautiful resort apartment in a complex called Baia ...

I have to confess that we're not altogether enamoured of the Algarve so far, although we haven't seen a lot of it yet. At this rate, however, we'll be hotfooting it straight to the Med as soon as we ...

... enough daylight to see by, although the sun had yet to rise.

It was actually an easier journey than expected. We were able to use our spinnaker again for most of the day, and the swell wasn't as bothersome as we had expected. Once again we made excellent time, reaching the cape around 4.30pm. Oddly, the wind disappeared, and Mister Kitty was starting to feel impatient with my caution as we started to round the cape. As ...
