Wir waren dann ganz schön im Zeitdruck, weil wir ja noch unseren Reiseproviant kaufen mussten. Zum Glück ist gegenüber vom Bahnhof ein Ramstore, wo wir um 2500 Rubel Wein, Wodka, Bier, Saft, Wasser und Brot gekauft haben. Das war eine unglaubliche Schlepperei. A very thought provoking place, especially when you realise people were sent to them for such minor offences as not having a correct bus ticket!! Anyone who held an opinion that didn't agree with the government and cared to express it would end up in one of these camps, from anything from 3 to 25 years. ... the attendent about us being in his bed.... in the end it was the 2 of us sharing with the mum and 2 kids and the dad joined us during the day. So not only was it increadibly hot in our room we were now sharing with 4 other people during the day in our 4 bed cabin.... it was unbearable in that room! Helen had fun playing games with the kids, neither spoke each others language so it was amazing how we managed to communicate through a game of charades!

Domani proveremo ad andare a visitare il gulag perm36 e dopodomani ripartira il treno, questa volta per 3 giorni (giorno e notte) fino a Irkutsk. La temperatura qui e gia piu fresca che a mosca...sembra di essere in inverno in Svizzera...
