... did the ascent to the ruins - despite 400 odd steps was OK - signs place conveniently every 25 steps meant sufficient get your breath back stops, plus interesting too! One whole temple actually carved out including some of the statues too - unfortunately some of the steps are really wearing away & parts have been closed as they are afraid of more wear & tear - won't be easy to repair! Wonderful views of the ...

Nevado de Toluca, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico flitterjahr... rip-off, well, I don´t think I´ve been ripped off yet. Perhaps I´m just naive. 5. My favorite leisure time activity is running! I´ve tried to go every morning at seven and it feels so good. The mornings here are about 50 degrees and beautiful. I´ve also tried to start a couple books. I´m on Harry Potter Y la Piedra Filosofal. It´s the first Harry Potter in spanish. Melissa: 1. Mexico is one big ball of suprises, and I ...

Mexico City, Mexico andrewprimmer... and playing soccer when we arrived at 4pm. By the time dusk came, everyone had left, and we ere all alone in this lovely park. Guess what 9200ft elevation is like at night.... COLD! Poor old Eve groaned into life the next morning, and we shivered until our first cup of coffee forced the sun to shine our way once again. It was about 0 celsius, and bundled up joggers were braving the cold air for their morning run.
Toluca, Mexico ddgfraser... pearl, the cream de la cream of Baja california - La Paz. The only good thing that happend to me that day was the ride I got from a local man going straight to La paz. a 5 hour ride of no talking since he knew no english, and I knew no spanish. Complete silence all the way to la paz... We got there by night fall, after wandering around town for a little while I found a small hostel with the help of two Ameican cyclers. After a few nights in a town who has absulutely nothing to ...
Tijuana, Mexico mrtoker... my little Martin-backpacker guitar has managed to withstand some incredibly brutal beatings) and I can't wait to start studying classical guitar. I am more convinced than ever that sticking the vegetarianism is the way for me to go and I can't wait to get back to Australia and see all my friends. Anyway - Thanks to anyone who managed to read through all those words - I am truly stunned by your patience. Hope to see you all in the future, It is time for me to get on a plane James
Mexico City, Mexico jamesdouglas... is able to experience such delights. By evenings end, people stumble out the doors at 3am to awaiting cabs and strolls home in the crisp clean San Cristóbal air. I myself have only "crawled" home once, damn those strong two for one drinks. Usually I am just worn out from bouncing and too many Latin gyrations. Before Huitzilopochtli left town, he and I ambled our way through the streets after a night of high energy dancing. One of the bands walked next to us and was very nice ...
Chiapas, Mexico autumn... The patient is currently stabilized by machines, and in Mexico no one has the right to turn the machines off (Not family, no living wills, etc.) After that, I was obviously feeling a little low, but then we got some good news! Calisto, (the malnourished 12 year old) had finally gained enough weight and was to be released that afternoon! WE made a beeline down the hall to go visit and talked with him for a few ...
