    ... one of the jewelery vendors is really hurting. The only sales he's had lately are to Liz and I and he has been giving us very reasonable prices just to make a sale. The trailer park is near deserted but everyone keeps saying that it will pickup just after Christmas. We like it this way, nice and quiet, but its tough on the town's people.

    ... is in the middle of nowhere. The resort is on the Sea of Cortez, about six miles from the road. The resort has three floors but no elevator which was really hard for John and Bertha. We had adjoining rooms and the main room had a small kitchen.

    Like most good adventures, this trip started with the end in sight...we wanted to escape winter's cold temperatures and head somewhere warmer.
