When we retuned home we started our Gold rush unit. I typed up some facts about the rush and some questions to go along with it. I downloaded a book called The Great Horn Spoon, a great tale about a 12 year old boy and his butler entering a steam ship as stowaways to join in the gold rush and save the family house from foreclosure.
