These guys are helpful. The hotel room was awesome, definitely a chic modern hotel. Breakfast and internet included. After 3 days, the breakfast does get boring, but what hotel doesn't have this issue?

... a Garden of Eden scene. It was amazing to see. There are wood walkways around the edge to keep people off the floor. Next, we took a single seat chairlift up to the top of the mountain. It went up 1200 meters, which I think is just under 3,000 feet. It was really cold when you got out in the open with the wind. From the top, we had great views of both sides of the island and of the Faragoli (sp?) rocks. We brought ...

... We all enjoyed the tour... our guide was excellent in explaining the lives of the people of Pompeii and the history of this area. She was very good at avoiding the major crowds and there were many times when we felt like we had some of Pompeii to ourselves for a bit. We saw so many incredible things in Pompeii...the pictures will speak for themselves. We were amazed at every turn. Our 2 hour tour was finished in a flash... we truly enjoyed our visit to Pompeii on this sunny and warm day. ...

... the park seemed to be boarded up, and another area that looked designed to handle tourists was closed (we arrived at about 1830). We continued on up the mountain along a very narrow and winding road. This road was seemingly endless; everytime we thought we were close to the top, there was another hairpin turn and more to travel. We didn't make it to the absolute top, as we pulled off for what was promised to be ...

... at Pompeii my new friend, the retired school teachers, and I headed back to Naples. We decided to roam the streets after showering to freshen up. We walked all around Naples and actually found some very nice areas and walked around the Castel Nuovo. It was a really nice evening. We had heard word that we could find a nice little beach to swim at, and looked for that as well. But, it never turned up and after we saw trash and other ...
