First of all, most of the climbers are much younger than us, in fact, most of them would be in their twenties or early thirties. So, you get to really challenge yourself! When you are climbing a mountain all that you care about is that mountain. Nothing else matters and you ...

... place was friendly and everyone either waved as they passed on their scooters or cars, shouted hello mister or if walking, stopped to talk in Indonesian! Its so funny, even though I say I don't speak Indo, they know this but carry on jabbering away expecting me to understand them!
