... and snorkelling still as great.

Context is everything in life and work. So given that Sammy was learning to dive, was 15 meters down and looking down, it's slightly unfair to take the 3 - 2 win too seriously, Snorkeling is easier, everything is below you and life is so much easier and more relaxed.

We are at The Shangrila la Rasa Ria Resort in KK with Mike's parents and it is bliss - not only because everything is set up so wonderfully for small people and there are lots and lots of small people around (we are no longer on top of mountains with balconies and edges or a bridge and a lake with big gaps and planks missing and no children around because they are probably not the most sensible places to bring a small person!). ... quick trip to the mall and we took a cab from the embassy to the ferry terminal after waiting for the bus for 45 minutes past its scheduled arrival time. The embassy experience was frustrating as they told us it was $50 for notary services, then proceeded to tell us it was $50 per signature and we needed 6 signatures! Oh, and the only way to pay was in cash, which of course we didn’t have enough of. So while Ginette waited I took a cab back to town to the ATM, then back out to ...

... were actually there. Scaremongering. We took a quick dip and it was lovely but the sun seriously hot by now- as there wasn't much shade and we were running low on water (schoolboy error!) we headed back and checked out our chalet. It was quite nice and had the all important balcony/decking area to enjoy a drink and round of cards on later.

Before that though we signed up to go on the night walk. We were finally going into the Bornean jungle at night and I for one ...
