... and snorkelling still as great.

Context is everything in life and work. So given that Sammy was learning to dive, was 15 meters down and looking down, it's slightly unfair to take the 3 - 2 win too seriously, Snorkeling is easier, everything is below you and life is so much easier and more relaxed.

He did really well in getting his PADI badge and dropping from ...

... quick trip to the mall and we took a cab from the embassy to the ferry terminal after waiting for the bus for 45 minutes past its scheduled arrival time. The embassy experience was frustrating as they told us it was $50 for notary services, then proceeded to tell us it was $50 per signature and we needed 6 signatures! Oh, and the only way to pay was in cash, which of course we didn’t have enough of. So while Ginette waited I took a cab back to town to the ATM, then back out to ...

... were actually there. Scaremongering. We took a quick dip and it was lovely but the sun seriously hot by now- as there wasn't much shade and we were running low on water (schoolboy error!) we headed back and checked out our chalet. It was quite nice and had the all important balcony/decking area to enjoy a drink and round of cards on later.

Before that though we signed up to go on the night walk. We were finally going into the Bornean jungle at night and I for one ...
