We are really enjoying our last days in Hita and in Japan, learning a lot about farming and rice-producing, and taking part in many different activities, such as planting onions, harvesting kilos of shiitake mushrooms, preparing yuzu (Japanese citrus fruit) marmalade, and making New Year's decorations using rice straw!
