... car may well still have coffee splatter all over it. Needless to say, we got out of there pretty speedily and headed for our train.

We managed to get stamps in our passports – probably the only time that will happen on this trip! We were boarded onto the train by an Italian chap who later walked passed us again with his friend saying ‘this is a nice car, very pretty girls’….and so it begins…

    Brussels

Okay so Brussels was what I expected and more. Definitely a place I'm sad to leave behind And wish I had at least a night or two in. It's definitely underrated as far As it's rich history and it's uniqueness. I really loved all of it. We did a free walking tour of the city which was awesome, we learned so much including the fair trade chocolate in Belgium where the workers in some companies have to ...

In order to maintain some unity among the old and new, they add elements to the new construction that are meant to complement the old. Our guide referred to this as Brusselization and you can see an example in the modern building that I paired with the Cathedral.

    Day 7
Today we went on a walking tour of Antwerp, Belgium's second largest city. During the first half of the 14th century Antwerp became the most important trading and financial center in Western Europe. The guild houses built on the main square are impressive, as is the Cathedral of Our Lady, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the ...
