... walk and old mansions of the gilded age. The cliff walk was pretty awesome, a beautiful walk, where on one side were ginormous mansions (or cottages as they like to call them!) and the other the sparkling blue ocean. We then walked back up through the suburbs to see the other side of the mansion. We took a tour of Breakers, the Vanderbilt home. It was the most ornate house we have ever seen, and this includes all the palaces in Europe!!! We are very sad ...

As navigator I took ...

... we were ready to eat some dinner already! Dave again came through, finding a gem of a pizza joint in downtown Burlington called Verita. Good God this was good eats! The Marguerita Pizza we had was so rustic and tasty with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil and parmesan cheese on a out-of-this-world crust. Dave had a nice simple salad that included warm goat cheese and I enjoyed a great local beer, The Shed's Mountain Ale that ...
