    Went skiing with the Reidy's and their cousins. Jay Peak is definitely a must on a skiers list. Some sweet glade skiing for novices. Packed powder. 25 degrees. Barely a breeze.     At the Conway end of the trail we were give some great advice from the information centre about what to see and how to experience the National Park to the fullest given the weather. There were covered bridges, waterfalls, ponds, mountain views (albeit misty) and towards the end as the weather cleared, we walked the 'track to trail' along the river.     ... diner down the road. It was actually really a good home cooked breakfast with home made bread! Good portions and good food.     ... vermont is a very beautiful state, green rolling hills, mountains, not as much water as the adirondacks, but enough. stowe is a nice little town, we went to the fourth of july festivities and watched the parade, they had a street fair going on, which is one of my favorite things to do. they have a wonderful six mile bike/walking trail that crosses the river, so there are a few bridges, we didn't walk the whole trail but did ...
