At it's height in the 1920's during Am**ica's pr*hibiti*n laws, Tijuana was a b**king city wh**e y*u c*uld get anything, anytime. N*w it seems dead, grubby and rund*wn. We saw virtually n* t*urists *f any kind. Only large disc* bars with plastic palm trees, emitting l*ud and bad electr*nic music made all the m*re harsh by the emptiness inside. Now as Tijuana is fueled by tourism and mostly american most of the bars pump out a mixture of loud hip hop style hits mixed in with various rigaton tracks. ... sights and bought a couple of things for people back home. I return to American soil around 5.00pm and on my return I saw the little girl who try to sell me some jewelry. I had about US$3 in my pocket and I gave it to her, it was amazing to see her face light as she ran back to her mother. I asked a local why she was so happy and he told me that the US$3 I gave her could feed her family for 3 nights. Pretty amazing really!!! Until tomorrow Kiwi Out!!!!
