... this is all happening inside a 16'x20' structure. Each room had a window and there was a front door.

With four walls up, we started applying the drywall and where possible, applying a first coat of paint. You have to imagine upwards of 10 people inside this small space, all trying to complete their assigned tasks all while bumping into each other. There were quite a few random collisions with wet paintbrushes.

With about an hour left in our day, the roofing team started ...

Unexpected ... totally unexpected ...

Not because I am Mexican I donīt live by stereotypes sometimes ... I do ... I donīt like them ... but I do ... and so, Tijuana was definitely one of mine that I have started to get rid of.

As I said in the previous post, crossing the border into Tijuana was a smooth process and nothing scary or dangerous at all ...

But what happened next?

I am staying in Tijuana with a long lost cousin ... and I say ...

... at 11:52, cleared customs at 5:56. Over six hours standing in line. This really is the mostly badly managed border crossing I've ever come across.utterly ridiculous. Then a 3 hour drive neither of us felt like up to LA. Much harder driving tonight. Made it ok though. The hotel is quirky, the room is huge. Popped out to McDs to get some food for us. Fast food doesn't exist here, queues for everything and really slow ...

... I need gas - not so on this segment - fuel for the driver was the reason to stop. I have a camel-back water sack which holds about a quart of water. It would last about 1 hour if I rationed it a little. The problem with rationing it was that the last half was like drinking bath water.
