... a few other things and Mike had fish and pasta. My meal was ok, the pasta was definitely fresh – it was different sizes so clearly hand done! It was a bit hard and chewy but not too bad. The others had the same commnt about the pasta. The waiter was so funny – he seemed really happy to give us food and gave us a big smile once he’d served our food! This morning we woke, packed and went to the lovely patisserie in Millau where Craig purchased his yummy Millefielle yesterday. Slight change of plans - we left Roma at 2pm driving out easily - thank you Sarina (Tomtom) and headed for Asti - Guido navigated the autostrada like a champ and no wrong turns thru the crazy Genoa labyrinth of tunnels. Got in at about 9pm and headed out for some sparkles and dinner.
Gianni and Luca looked after Gran and Papa Tuesday morning visiting the local market and exploring the medieval centre of beautiful Asti. Guido and I headed off to attend a family funeral nearby. Sad ...
