Day 2 - epic days kiting - 5 hrs!!
4km downwinder to Taiba lagoon - kited at Taiba lagoon in AM. Buggy to Paracuru. Cat kited before lunch @ Paracuru. PM- 28k downwinder to Lagoinha. This was unaccompanied as buggy driver decided to meet us later & go via the road.....near disaster as we weren't warned of wind shadow by one village & Cat kite fell onto sky & did death roll. Somehow cat recovered the kite & we carried on.... 3 hrs later arrived in Lagoinha - stunning bay, much to relief of buggy driver ...
Kite Safari - the start
... of short local downwinder 4. Central line snapped so another kite rescue!, This is after only 4 days.... DAY 1 : 20 k +. Downwind Pecem to Taiba. Lovely downwind - one section with scary waves for Mrs F. One nitemare for Mrs F when waves knocked me into little cliff bay....the only hazardous place en route. Beach
... down like they do in the movies ha, needless to say anyway he got them all on the ground then released them, nothing like a bit of drama in brazil, Joe remained alseep throughout it all. Went for a pay by kilo meal where we endured more drama by a big political rally parading throughout the streets. Took a bus later that afternoon to Salvador, a nice 22 hour one this will be a longest one so far so wish us luck for that.

Flight
We boarded our flight from Sao Paulo at 12pm arriving at 2:30am. After a taxi to the hostel we were in bed by 4am.
We forced our selves up early the next day to catch the morning bus to Jericoacoara only to find after an hour walk to the ticket office that we had missed the morning bus and needed to get the 7pm bus.

Kite surfin' Cumbuco
... et autours des lagunes environnantes, on n'y échappera donc pas! Comme toujours, notre chauffeur essaie de communiquer avec nous dans un espagnol un peu trop portugais, on dit oui à tout, et surtout aux sensations dans les dunes!
La vie au brésil, on commence a s'en rendre compte,est plutôt chère!! Hôtels, restos, transports... presque aussi chers qu'en France!
