In the end Nick went back to the spotlight and performed Albert and the Lion once more with feeling!! This time I did get it on video – thank goodness!! Afterwards we made a hasty retreat (not because of Nick’s performance I hasten to add!!) and managed to get to walk around the rest of the ruins before heading back to the bus. I’m not sure if Epidavros will ever recover from 2 lots of Albert being eaten by the lion!! ...

... Treasury of Atreus", Atreus being the father of Agamemnon and Menelaus, two kings of ancient Greece. I knew from my classes that this thing was monumental, but I didn't know what to expect until I began walking up to it. The whole thing was absolutely mind-boggling. ... to approach our journey to Nafplio from a different angle, so we jump on the city bus from the Corinth station into town (note that this is the same bus, with the same bus driver, that we had ridden a few days earlier – the very same bus/driver that got into an accident during our visit to Ancient Corinth just two days prior! Also, quite familiar…).

A couple was touring the grounds (there's a museum as well) and the lady, a trained opera singer, decided she wanted to sing. We all sat down (I made my way to the top to test the theory) and from the very first note to the last, I heard every one!
