Hotel is celebrating 100 years. The hotel is in a prime location, right at the top of the park on the corner of the Florida walkstreet, about 1 mile from Puerto Madero, and near the subway station.
    Classic.

    Torrential rain!!

That's what greeted us as we awoke on the first of two days in Buenos Aires. And what had we planned? A day on a working estancia (ranch) in Los Cardales, about an hour and a half north of the capital of Argentina.

We travelled from the port area through considerable surface flooding. Temperatures had reached 49 …

Beautiful day for touring. We just took a taxi to the park area and walked there for hours. Botanical Gardens, Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, etc.

Then we walked to Palermo Soho which is like Soho in NYC. Had a nice lunch at cafe. The weather should be beautiful for our entire time here.

Walking to another steak restaurant tonight …

I can never sleep when I take an overnight flight in sardine class but this time I actually had an empty seat next to me so I didn't have to remain 100% upright and I did …
