Puerto del Rosario

A travel blog entry by maxieduncan on Jul 10, 2014

I decided a night in Puerto del Rosario might be good for a change of scene and I had an early flight in the morning. Alone on a desert island

May 12-23: I am on my own on a desert island. Fuerteventura (means "strong winds"), the second-largest island in the Canaries archipelago, lies just 100 kilometres northwest of Africa. The southern tip of Fuerteventura

A travel blog entry by davidandmarjory on Nov 10, 2013

We are warmly welcomed at the hotel for our 5 night all inclusive stay. Our room is very spacious with an excellent balcony and sea views. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens.

We spend the next few days relaxing locally and travelling around the southern tip of Fuerteventura.
