... two Starbuck’s since leaving the U.S. The first was in the Harry Potter Studios and the second in the Valencia airport on our recent trip. Sitting in that Starbucks, with its design, its signage, its music, its mugs for sale and its soy lattes, one could really be ANYWHERE. It’s like being removed from Spain and dropped into some caffeinated neutral zone with biscotti.
Can't believe it's already October 1! Happy Fall!
... and headed home at 2am. It was pretty sad saying goodbye to some great people who I'm really glad to have met - and I really hope that we can stay in touch. So, that's it - I'm done!! Dreading the journey home tomorrow but actually I have a concert to look forward to when we land in London, and I really cannot wait to see everyone at home. After school today, James drove us to Coloni Sant Jordi, a pretty little port, for a bite to eat. We had intended to explore a nearby beach which was recommended by a local, but after having had quite a few days of exploring recently, we drove straight to Es Trenc beach instead. ... the ocean this time- it was beautiful clear water with little skeleton like fishes swimming around... a bit rocky on the floor in some places though- I always managed to find the rocks of course!
After heading back to the hostel to collect our bags, we caught a cab to the airport, bought some chocolates for the office, got on the plane and then we were back in London... just in time for work on ...
