    ... were just terrible. I had horrible muscle cramping pain and shaking. We continued on to try to make it to the first stop but I got slower and slower. Finally Martinna arrived with the van and I was done after 14 miles. I shuttled to the first rest stop where I drank some 7up.     We packed our bags to head south today and enjoyed a full buffet of breakfast food. Leaving the hotel on bikes we started a crazy descent with many switchbacks. It is alot like descending from highlands to franklin. It was 3.5 miles so i had to stop several times to rest my hands from gripping the brakes.     Our day begins early as we trek our luggage down to Hotel Reina Isabelle to meet our guides. It is easy to spot our group wearing lots of biking gear. We have 21 bikers mostly from the east coast. This includes three families, two single women and four couples. We have a 50 minute bus trip to the south of the island to begin our ride.
