        ... There was a quiz going on and the winning team was ably assisted by Jayne & myself. They won hands down but didn't give us any credit for it or any of the Champagne that they won. Lesson learnt, knowledge is something best kept to yourself. We finished the night off with a couple of glasses of vino collapso on the balcony as the deluge had finally stopped. Tomorrow we were going to try and get out for some jolly japes on the high seas.

        ... The shame is this place was given planning permission as the rest of the area is pretty. The one saving grace is that really there's no blasting noise. So Paddy's is the exception.

        There's a mix of Brits & other Europeans here and very few young ones. There's plenty of the sandal & socks brigade here. We speak to few of them and it turns out there's lots of retired Brit expats here. The place is very hilly and so we ...

        It was now time to march indignantly down to the Ryanair desk and shout at someone, but someone had beaten us to it and Ryanair were one step ahead of us all.
