... were cancelled do to the weather. The guild took us to the beach where I saw the whales a few days ago. We watched for a bit, but they weren't nearly as close to the shore today. The Irish guy and I went for dinner again. I had this delicious bowl of seafood and veg. It was all super amazing minus the clams that were to rubbery for me, so I gave them away. Puerto Madryn is on a similar latitude to Kaikoura in New Zealand or Hobart in Tasmania, and like both places is ...

The sea lions were loud and hilarious, they were all up and down the beach, sleeping on top of each other, fighting, or just roaring (they sound like goats). There were tons of adorable babies playing on the beach and in the surf but no orcas lurking, trust me, ...

... an open exit seat, 15D on the right aisle. Hurray! :-)

After checking in, I paid the airport tax of 28 pesos ($4.20). I walked upstairs and went through security. The metal detector beeped as I walked through. The security lady asked if there’s anything in my pockets. I said "no" and pointed to my boots, which I knew were the cause of the alarm. She replied “okay” and let me through without a pat-down. ...
