... drive and quite a lot on gravel. When I think of penquins ,I think of cold weather not 26C! But apperently they seem to cope with the weather quite well! The chicks were just starting to loose their fluff and getting ready to learna to swim, and so it was quite funny watching them take their first steps Into the sea. ... visit the Welsh settlement of Gaiman some hour and a half away. Bob thankfully was persuaded not to go on the local bus and change at Trelew and get another bus then to go on Gaiman as time was of a premium. - we had to be back on board by 4:30. For a set price, it consists of unlimited tea (we had around 4 litres!), cakes (we had a chocolate-banana-cream cake; some kind of cream tart; a cream, raspberry, and jelly tart on shortbread (they apparently love cream!); apple pie; and our favourite - a ridiculously rich, shortbread, dulce de leche, meringue and walnuts!), scones, breads and jams.

Following this, we waddled back to the bus back to Trelew, where we stayed one more night before making our way to Puerto Madryn.
