... he is asking me if I am ok every minute and wont let me get out of bed to do anything. We have spent three days just doing nothing in the room but on sunday we went out for a walk and I seem to be getting better at one point I think that I wanted to come home but what difference does it make being here or at home. We have some sunshine now and I can just relax.

I have slept for nearly 14 hours ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelle... I did not know what had happened and I think I was knocked out for a few minutes so Ian went to get some help and they called an ambulance. They were amazing really the lady from the theatre was cool helping me to get up but I could not walk and felt like I was going to pass out again. Anyways got taken to hospital in Pula and spent the next few hours having xrays and scans and allsorts. They had to put 4 ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelleAs we said its getting colder now so we decided not to do much today as we both wanted to relax anyway after the hectic few weeks that we have had in Turkey greece and italy. So we just went for a walk in the harbour and had a look around its another pretty little harbour town with some cafes but its still really different from Italy. We found a supermarket and as we wanted ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelle... for a few hours before heading to shore. We didn't' want to go alone so we asked any of the crew if they wanted to go with us. We ended up getting three of the stewies and one of the deckies to go with us. With only four people aboard the work load was very light, so they were able to go with us. We took the tender to shore and no one was on the beach where we landed, but there were more people scattered ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia mylifesjourney... head phones on it was doing his head in. We had to go through passport control which was a border on the motorway and we got our passports checked first by the Slovenian Police then by the Croatian police as we had to go through Slovenia to get to Croatia. We are coming back to Slovenia but in a few days time. The police did not stamp my passport and I was really dissapointed I am sure because Croatia is not an EU country he ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelle... of alleyways behind the town hall, in the hopes of losing myself in them for a little while as I headed out to the lighthouse, on the tip of the town that extends into the Adriatic. Fortunately or unfortunately, the town is small enough that, while one can wander through these alleyways, it is really difficult to truly lose one's self in them. I was out at the lighthouse a short time later, which, as promised by my guidebook, was quite unimpressive ...
Piran, Slovenia forbes.thompson... in the other windows, another window was just shutters and flung them open. It was the best room. From there we found one of those islands of contentment that is the incredible restaurant, but not without gedtting lost first. We asked directions of a stalwart gentleman who appeared to be arguing with someone in a 2nd floor window, and he told us to go 200 meters ands (makes walking fingers) go stamps.

So we found the stamps and went ...
Piran, Rovinj, Volosko, Split, Slovenia commuter... near Split where we stayed two nights as we had the perfect view and the lovely cool water to dip into every now and again wen it just got a bit to hot. So as we headed back to Slovina on our last night it was unfortunate we finally had our first brush with the law, we were about 10km from the border and found a spot that overlooked Slovina and Italy. It seemed a fairly secluded spot and we settled in and had some dinner. Then a police car pulled ...
Porec, Istria, Croatia piholland... town past the harbor where tourist boats waited for customers and fisherman repaired their nets in what little shade they could find. Mauro guided us to the far end of town where the new hotel was being built. Directly across from a National park where locals were biking, swimming and enjoying the beautiful woods. We then dropped Father and Tyler back to the tender to head back to the ship.

Tim, the ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia premiertravel... than a third of the cost of the hotel! Plitvice National Park is phenomenal. It's famous for the 16 turquoise lakes and the amazing waterfalls and cascades which connect them. From a distance, the water is stunning shades of blue and green, but up close, the water is crystal clear and just packed (and I mean PACKED) with trout. If only you were allowed to fish... The water is full of minerals and unusual plants, strange patterns in the tufa looked like ...
