The wild centre is a little conservation and wildlife centre we found in a brochure about Tupoer Lake. Little did we know that this little gem would turn out to be one of the most fascinating places we have been. It had everything from a planetarium to indoor animal displays and a movie theatre. There was also a huge outdoor area with snow shoe trails and hikes, lakes and butterfly trails. What we thought was ...

... Brookfield. That took some doing to find – way off the road. What a hoot – you couldn’t get me to cross that thing for $1M – literally. Looks like they have it semi-permanently blocked anyway – only open to foot-traffic - which, for the record, I wouldn’t do either. Then it was off to Burlington. Found the ‘whales tails’ just south of Burlington – almost blew right past them – had ...

... One of them was in Burlington called Boves. They are famous for Italian food. This is where we had dinner tonight. It was defiantly worth the visit.

Kim dragged me to another brewpub for drinks. I’m getting pretty tired of drinking beer every night! It was a get together with a few alumni that are working at Husky. It was good to see them again and relive old memories. The beer was the best I’ve had so far on the ...
