... of eight from there to the hotel in their minivan.

The trams are great: clean, cheap, and all electric. The city of Geneva (from what I could see) was really clean too, with recycling bins everywhere there's a rubbish bin. The water here even tastes like New Zealand water! The hotel is really nice too, with big modern rooms. Definitely nice to have some space after ...

We finally got past them and Barry was just admiring ...

Onto the Annecy, we drove through valleys and wound high up into the mountains where we found the Swiss alps already capped in snow. We hadn't expected it to be such a big place and found ourselves caught in quite a bit of traffic around 6pm as computers moved between Geneve and Annecy.
