    ... compartment. But the plane from Chicago to Winnipeg was a CRJ200 (whatever that was). It was a small plane, each row has 4 seats, 2 and 2. Only very flat bags would fit in the overhead compartment, so my 2 big camera bags had to stay under the seats before us, making even smaller leg rooms for us. Yuk! Bob and I killed the 2+ hours flight by taking small naps and playing "gin".

    ... The forests along the way were beautiful, never ran out of trees until 20 miles before Winnipeg. The weather deteriorated all day. As we were coming into Winnipeg, it was 39 degrees, raining cats and dogs, blowing like a mother! We were happy to get to our campsite! We will probably have snow in the morning!

    ... On this trip, Gump and I met many wonderful Manitobans. No internet here, so I will post this blog back in Lethbridge. Can't say I am looking forward to the seven hour drive tomorrow, but at least Gump and I can share the driving. SWe are pretty well 50-50 so far. Thanks for following my blog!
