Next stop Sweden; we'd hoped to make both Orebro and Stockholm but alas…. Time was not on our side. Too much time was taken in the journey and not an emphasis on the destination. We chopped out Stockholm; I’m sure it is a great place to visit but there you have it.

Uneventful travel. Drove to Newcastle, flew via Heathrow to Arlanda, train via Stockholm to Orebro. Met by our great friend David, again. He took us out to Tim and Susie's to collect the Boomer. Left camp and drove into Karlstadt, where we went to the Naturum Varmland. We found a brilliant bird walk, with nesting sea gulls, geese, ducks and several bird hides, so peaceful.
Drove to Orebro and camped in the street outside David and Maria's house, when we had last been in the snow in February. Lovely pizza dinner out with his family visiting from Aus.

... and most of the attractions were manned so we could browse through each of the rooms in the warmth, which was also good. Then we walked in to an English pub in town to sample the local Orebro Bitter - well worth the effort. Finally we walked about 5k home with the temperature at about ...
... too!! Mmmm, was delicious having some nice homecooking for once =P Especially since I'm so lazy these days when it comes to cooking! I also finally managed to see Life of Brian for the first time! So a very enjoyable weekend all in all =D
PS: Got my room bug sprayed on Thursday....hopefully those pesty beg bugs from Venice are all gone by now =S
