Wow this seems like ages ago we did this bit of the trip - really need to try and keep up more, truth is we just have hardly had a spare 5 minutes and have come to realise that 6 weeks to get across the States probably isn't long enough!

We were all starving, so we headed out for dinner at the restaurant next door, The Sea Venture. This was quite simply the best food any of us had eaten for some time. Gary and I had steaks, Holly had chicken and Lucy had a caeser salad. The food, wine and service was excellent. We are now tucked up in bed watching Conan O'Brien on TV. Our road trip continues tomorrow to San Francisco.
... for a meal we stayed in and snuggled in bed watching a really scary film!! (With a cup of tea! ) .. it was nice to have a chilled evening as it had been such a non stop day!
In the morning we headed down for a free buffet breakfast which was rather nice and packed the car up to head to our last stop Santa Barbra!!! ...
