Very sad to be leaving our gorgeous Malibu neighbours but we will hopefully meet up with them again in San Diego as they don't live that far away.

I got my washing done and des dropped off the hire car then we hit the road up north past Santa Monica plus lots of other very cool beaches along the way.

Hugging the coast line we listened to road trip ...

... wide open beaches, sunset over the water, birds flying, a gentle breeze blowing - what a nice way to spend the evening. Pismo beach is a large seaside town with vast expanses of sand and many restaurants and beachy type shops playing for the tourist dollar. Great clam chowder as well was had at Brads, next door to the world famous Splash and without the hour wait. A driving day today to see the local sights. Today we pretty much spent the whole day driving down the beautiful coastline of California from San Francisco to San Luis Obispo. However- we did have fun with the fact that we were driving on the right (otherwise thought of as the wrong) side of the road. Isaac did all of the driving today- with Amanda as co-pilot reminding what side of the road to turn into. Along the way we saw some amazing coastline that ranged from dramatic sand dunes to massive cliffs, as well as driving ...
