Good luck this morning - there was a produce and everything else market at the little town we stayed at last night. We have bought heaps of little gifts , it was a fun experience negotiating in Spanish / English/ sign language. We have made it to Barcelona in one piece. Spanish drivers are crazy !, somehow we have managed to ...

Stats: Distance: 18 km Total ascent: 1030 meters Total descent: 920 meters Kathy and ...

... and persevering. We still managed to put on a good turn of speed until the trail, to our consternation, turned upwards again. However, we continued undaunted and reached our gite outside the hamlet of Aunac at about 4 PM. We had a shower and did some washing and are now looking forward to some dinner as you can probably imagine! ... buildings are probably of interest we don't really think miles of old steel cables and so on should be just left to litter the mountain sides. Anyway, we crossed a small bridge across the river and started climbing the mountain using a trail which was fairly steep but not too difficult to negotiate. We were making for a point where the GR 10 divides itself into two, the GR 10 and the GR 10E, which we were planning to take. It took us ...
