... Med, once again.
We toured the ruins, I stuck my toe into the Med, and then retreated back for a little siesta. We had a time change last night, and kinda screwed my clock up.
We plan on staying here 2 nights, then on to Kas.
We are in Olympos after finishing a 4 day boat cruise on the Mediterannean. We went with a company called V-Go Yachting and it was alright except our guide was totally awol for a good chunk of the trip, leaving us with the rest of the crew that hardly spoke any english. also, they managed to run out of beer on two separate days. we tried to bargain with the crew to buy out the entire ...

I always find it an interesting experience when I grow my facial hair. For the second time in my life I have found myself "cultivating" a beard of sorts (having had a rebillious and somewhat scraggly teenage goatee in my early University days).
This time it has grown more from circumstance and laziness then design - the result of frenetic travel days merged into the lethargy of days relaxing on boats and ...
Finally managed to leg it out of Fethiye on a 4 day boat cruise further down the coast to Olimpos. We were on one of those old Gulet cruise boats which the owner of the hostel in Fethiye and the boat hounded me all week telling me that 'Never I put more than 12 people' on the boat but of course rocked up to find 17 of us plus crew packing into this thing and who do you reckon was the only person not to get a cabin and had to sleep up on deck......the pink paddy ...
Olimpos, Antalya Province, Turkey absolutebullSarah and Lindsey went to Fethiye after Istanbul. It was a pretty uneventful relaxing time. We went on a 12 Island cruise, which involved blaring techno, a lot of Russians, some bunny rabbits and two desperate travelers (us) stealing a fanta. We would soon regret it, because not 5 minutes later Lindsey broke her camera which she is convinced is because of bad karma. She has been trying to set it straight in the universe every since.

... be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

... we spent our time in Olympos doing. Few ventured down the beach as there were spectacular storms for the duration of our stay. We snuggled down in blankets and whiled the time away. We were extremely glad that we had beds and shelter because the storms were shaking the foundations of our huts, so tents would have been scary! Nevertheless, I have grown to enjoy listening to the rain from the safe, dry inside of my ...
Olympos, Antalya, Turkey noodlerheadPoets and scholars have tried to describe the color of The Med for an eternity - there's no possibility that I could do it justice. It is without question like no place I've ever been. The blueness is much deeper than that of the Caribbean and is much clearer - cleaner - sparkling than....any place.
I am truly speechless and grasping for something to include within this entry. Our first night out was cloudless and there was only the tiniest sliver of a moon. As a result the ...
