... a boat pickup while I try to learn to go upwind. Yes, Brian will have to babysit me a while longer. Yes, yes, the amazing husband and chaperone. The wind blows completely off shore, so no boat pickup means just drifting out to the ocean. Now that's a motivator, isn't it?

It turns out Bonaire is one of the few breeding grounds in the world ...
... I asked for directions to the beach which wasn't too far away from a lady at the tourist desk in the hotel. I also booked return shuttle transfers to and from the ship. I probably could have organised a cab but this service is door to door. Lady told us to catch the trolley from the shopping centre next door to the beach and that only cost 50 cents each. Good service really. It's hop on hop off and we jumped off on the long esplanade at the beach. A lovely ...
... have been able to take it, AND we're so happy so many of you "traveled" with us.
The cruise was great, but after our days in Europe, it was just a time to enjoy the ship, relax and, of course, eat!!!
We are so grateful and feel so blessed to have been able to make our "Dream Trip to Europe"!!

... played cards on our own :( and at around 8 headed out to the seafront to get a spot to watch the fireworks. When we got there the place was heaving already, no space to sit on the wall and the beach was full of people watching a live band on a big stage. The atmosphere was great, lots of people dressed up in red white and blue, it's obviously a massive celebration! We listened to the band for a bit and sat on the grass to wait for the fireworks, which were unbelievable. ...
