... an ambulance with all lights flashing at the base station so not everyone gets down unscathed. Interestingly the park is open 24X7 and has lots of night time visitors despite the rocky road. At this time of year it makes sense as the temperature is a bit cooler at night and the viewing is focused on the fires.

Spent our 2 days here relaxing on the cushions under the shade at Bayrams and swimming at the beach. A nice reprieve! The people were friendly, the free dinners delicious and the surroundings beautiful.

... easy to get excited over the small things in life again.

So chilling out in the huts with beverages (obviously, I mean we are holiday) and the boys are playing a little table tennis which became quite competitive. Luke forfeited which gave Steve another chance and he won (and he reminds me he won the next comp outright), so that kept him happy. We get a nice buffet meal here as well so all looks good for the next few days.
