... chose these easy meals as the plated meals seamed to be a bit more expensive compared to what we had come across so far. Anyway my burger was great and Cath's roll was ok. Back in the car and drive to find somewhere to stay.
The first place we stopped at the lady (Indian) came out and told us no vacancy this place looked a bit dodgy anyway so back down the road we headed. Next place we pull up to has a pile of empty ...
... lots of Rummy (I won). Laila enjoyed the playground. We had a campfire going - even during the day.
My two polar bears swam in the frigid campground pool. I watched from the sunny spot on the deck.
It was heaven. And Chris handled the sewage like a pro.
It was a wonderful weekend and I look forward to all of our new adventures.
... level to stay warm, you are going to beat the luggage to the hotel. I had lunch today soaking wet, but the hot chocolate was the best I have ever had. Now I am in my hotel room with the heat on (drying my shoes that I will need tomorrow), the hot shower was also the best I have ever had. It's nice to be warm!
Little Falls, New York, United States bot989After a relaxing morning we hooked up and headed out of the campground around 11:00. Our plans were to stop at the Cooperstown All Star Baseball Village and then hit Brooks BBQ for lunch. No trip to Oneonta, New York is complete with a stop at Brooks!

And now I'm so disturbed by thinking I've put all of you in such a tizzy I've forgotten what I was going to write about in our time together. Too bad b/c I bet it was going to be really sappy. Oh well, I guess you'll have to keep checking the travelpod for more to come. I know I'm subjecting you to possible dependence on this blog. I guess I'm just going to have to take my chances. Oh the sacrifice.

Inside lurk strange wax and sculptural concoctions that are based on various famous horror narratives. Some are obviously vintage and still maintain their wax visages, while others feature animatronics and mannequin-like figures. There are some really cool ones, such as the Dracula piece which features a nifty mirror illusion. Some have sound clips or music that set the scene. It is ALL weird ...
