We took a walk into the local village, Capmany, this morning, found the cafè/bar and got an ice cream and found the deli and got lunch, a nice walk around the narrow streets before we headed back to the site. After lunch we had a game of pétanque and chilled out in the sun. This evening we will pack up ready for our move tomorrow for the first of our longer stays.

We walked the narrow cobblestone lanes, hemmed in by formidable ramparts. Human spirit was confined quite literally. We had intended to go out in the evening for tapas but the weight of travel and history (and our good lunch) depleted our resolve and we faded out early in Girona!

Sad to say goodbye to Tossa- last look in the morning light and in the car for the "short drive" only 110 klms to Cadaques. Google doesn't account for the sign for the tollway becoming the regional road - even when we turned back ???? Then next day we counted the 18 roundabouts from the main road through o the Cadaques exit and THEN 13 klms of extremely narrow windy road down the mountain , don't know how the tourist coaches do it but glad we ...
