... our next move. We noticed in what looked like a shopping centre there was a food court so we decided to head up there, put our bags down, get a drink and then figure out what to do. The shopping centre isn't really a shopping centre more like an indoor market really, we headed up to the food court. The food court wasn't really a food court as we know it, more a food market kind of thing, pretty had to explain, we got a coke and sat down. It was about 9:30 and all we knew ...

... We started with some Chicken Satay, from Satay 99, a small Satay cart on the junction of Lebuh Chulia and the road with our hostel on. The smallest portion size was 10 skewers and the largest was a 50 skewer portion. We opted for the 10 skewer portion to share - there was plenty of street food ahead of us. ... blog, just need to spend bloody ages actually putting it on the internet now, but that is going to have to wait for Indonesia. Sadly the lights are off on the bus, as they of course expect you to sleep ridiculously early. My blog writing has worked the cogs in my mind though so I'm not really tired anymore at all, think I'm gonna chill out with my ipod. So ridiculously hungry hope there's food soon! Food came at 11:30, some fried chicken **** but it was edible. Sleep time ...

In the morning I came down early to walk around a bit. As soon as I entered the lobby I froze...easily 8 cockroaches on they backs wiggling around. They were big, very very big. I crept out and saw he streets and sidewalks littered with wiggling roaches. I got what I wanted at a corner store (water, snacks) and got back to the hotel.

We went to the bus station early and booked a small bus to Penang. ...
