... to the other. You can walk around the gully from the top of the parks hill where Phra Buddha Mongkal Maharaj and the observatory are for about 2km.

During my final day in Hat-Yai i was up before the sun and spent the day in the bordering province of Phatthalung. I will add this day trip as a separate entry and will be my next blog update. I really enjoyed my time in Hat-Yai and have a number of reasons to return one day. Seeing all 7 tiers of Ton Nga Chang waterfall being just one of them.

... Kuala Lumpur seems the kind of place which is ok through the day but could be unsafe on a night, we both decided after our huge nandos we weren't particularity hungry so decided to get some snacks from over the road and have a night in. Oh we bought a selfie stick on our short ventures out of the room, prepare for selfies to ...

I think the group was better prepared this time...the people who got car sick the first time armed themselves with Dramamine. I slept most of the way. We made great time to Chiang Mai so we chilled out at the airport plaza mall for a few hours ...

... manage to see two guys standing at the entrance to a minimart waiting for something. I asked them if they knew any guesthouses nearby or could they point me in the direction I should be walking, but turns out they are just waiting for their next bus and only passing through to Penang in Malaysia. I checked out one guesthouse for 250 baht, took one look at the room without even entering and walked out, I found another foreigner and asked him if he ...

In the morning I came down early to walk around a bit. As soon as I entered the lobby I froze...easily 8 cockroaches on they backs wiggling around. They were big, very very big. I crept out and saw he streets and sidewalks littered with wiggling roaches. I got what I wanted at a corner store (water, snacks) and got back to the hotel.

We went to the bus station early and booked a small bus to Penang. ...
