My dear friends: It's getting colder in Canada and my thoughts are wandering to warmer climes. On January 12/2010, I fly to Managua, Nicaragua and then work my way north ending up in Cancun, Mexico. From there, I fly to join many members of the Gaudun family in Daytona Beach. If you would rather not get notifications of my travel blogs just send a brief "no thank you" to this travelpod . No problem. Hasta la vista baby. Steve

“So am I” he says, “Where do you live?”
“On Moose Lake at North Shore Heights.”
“Where?”
“#30 Spruce Drive - next door to Denis”, he says.
It turns out that Brian Kelleher lived on our lot on Moose Lake then sold it to the person who subsequently built the ...
... our bedroom and then new railings all around. We moved the main stairs in the back - instead of taking up space in our yard, they now come down the side of the house. We are hoping to have the time/money to start digging up the front yard to landscape the whole thing and we want to build a deck in the backyard. All in all, I'd say we've done pretty well with our goal.
So now the urge to travel needs to be satisfied yet again. Trouble is, I'll be in school all year - and when I'm ...
... at 4 am, we head to the airport and fly to Cuzco. We hang out there for the day, acclimatizing to the altitude. Saturday morning we hit The Sacred Valley and Ollantayatambo. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday we hike and camp our way to Machu Picchu. Spend the day in MP and then head to Aguas Calientes ...
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada rheadejaLike many young people I wanted to travel and made the big step in 1986 when I boarded a plane bound for London, England with a back pack, a one way ticket, dreams and aspirations but not much money. With little knowledge of the world I thought it prudent to do a tour with similar aged young people like myself in order to get the lay of the land and some experience before setting out on my own. So two days after arriving in London I set off on my thirty day ...

But Kay told me that this specific casino has a live band and its fun. So she said that we would go at night cause on the way there I noticed that there were wineries. I like visiting vineyards so I didn't know that there was an area that was producing wine. Im not a wine big shot but I enjoy the wine tasting and ...
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada nrbrown... in the McMaster Hospital, I heard a familiar horn and had to dash down to dis-engage the system again. Short of leaving all my doors unlocked, there doesn't seem to be a way to turn this "anti-theft" alarm off! Fortunately my battery is less than a year old and is holding up to the pressure well. Toronto Friday afternoon and then home by Saturday night!
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada ksplinter... 87 - so recommend you try to avoid this. Then I went to the top of the world - the pinacle of the CN Tower, the largest free standing building in the world. That was fun. They have glass floors in certain parts and you can walk across and get this really weird feeling in your knees... Cool man! There is a restuarant in the lower deck and you can pay an extra $9 to get up to the Skypod - which ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada troys... the news, and receiving frequent briefings from Singapore Airlines officials. We were lucky considering the horror stories we were hearing of passengers sleeping on cots in school gyms, and being stuck on landed planes for up to 24 hours... especially lucky when you consider what else happened that day. Early Thursday morning we were told we had been granted clearance to leave Canada and land in Chicago. We were the first US-bound flight allowed to return.
