My dear friends: It's getting colder in Canada and my thoughts are wandering to warmer climes. On January 12/2010, I fly to Managua, Nicaragua and then work my way north ending up in Cancun, Mexico. From there, I fly to join many members of the Gaudun family in Daytona Beach. If you would rather not get notifications of my travel blogs just send a brief "no thank you" to this travelpod . We've upgraded our camera and hope to be posting some nice pictures, and maybe even some video on this site.
As we finish a location, we will let you know where we stayed, provide some pictures and also fill you in on the activities we did in the area.

We were lucky considering the horror stories we were hearing of passengers sleeping on cots in school gyms, and being stuck on landed planes for up to 24 hours... especially lucky when you consider what else happened that day. Early Thursday morning we were told we had been granted clearance to leave Canada and land in Chicago. We were the first US-bound flight allowed to return.
