It looked like it was going to rain today but after we looked at the weather we decided a short ride or getting a little wet was better than riding in the truck or sitting around today. We briefly debated going to the train ride in Bryson City but we all slept in a little late after last night and it would have been a rush to get there in time. In Pigeon forge, what once was a cow path is a busy honkytonk of amusement and hotel/motel/restaurants and fun. Dolly World isn't even visible from the main drag. I will have to come back to actually check it out.

Everywhere you looked there were miniature golf courses, miniature race car tracks, ferris wheels, arcades, giant slides, roller coasters and anything else you could possibly think of that would entertain adults and children alike.

OK, time to move to Plan B. Plan B was actually our original Plan A and that was to stay in Sevierville, Tennessee, where the Great Smoky Mountains National Park was located. So she looked in our Good Sam book and found a place in Sevierville and was able to get a spot with plenty of trees. Cool.
