... There are so many turnouts and if you stopped at all of them, the trip would take forever and we didn’t have that much time. The posted speed limit on the parkway is 45 mph, but that is not usually achievable, so after driving for an hour and a half, we had managed to travel 45 miles! We had our first experience of free camping in the U.S. Here there is an app which lists all the Walmart shops that allows RV's (caravans, motor homes etc) to overnight park in their car parks free of charge. This is a popular service to travellers. Our caravan is completely self contained, holds all it's waste grey and black water, is battery and electricity powered, gas cooking, water heating and furnace heating. ... s a LOT of Butt Time! Hope you have enjoyed the Blog. We can now remember most of what we did. Lots of good memories, wish the weather had been more cooperative, wish we had seen more wildlife, but what we did find was a bunch of wonderful people.
