      ... dogs in the distance. I wonder if they are scared at night on their own?

      n one of our walks we walked along a fence where a pack of probably 10 large seriously vicious dogs were running loose inside the property, following us. Then Paul noticed, about 50 meters ahead, that the gate was open. We had to turn around as we just could not risk that they would stay inside the yard. I am sure that someone with that degree of security must be doing someting illegal ...

      ... buildings just begging to be renovated that we can fantasize about. Also n heated municipal swimming pool and sauna, loads of walks and cycle tracks. And all for €6 a day. No wonder people choose to travel for months on end although we still can't quite get our heads around the whole motorhoming culture.

      Another change was how the high tide eroded the beach. Yesterday there was a gradual slope from the sand to the edge of the ocean. Today, it looked like a cliff. The sea literally carved a sand wall along the shore.
