... it as far as Lumberton, NC, which is about 11 miles from the SC border today. 6 1/2 hours on the road, which is plenty for me. It was a beautiful drive today, but I am glad I was not on I-95 northbound. The north lanes were bumper to bumper slow almost all the way. Good to be going South.

First up was this lighthouse type affair. An advertising beacon to get people to stop and rest at this... rest stop. To be fair, there isn't another one for miles and miles so people are probably gonna stop there anyway, but no one tells an American they can't do something just because it's probably pointless.
