    When we arrived, our jeep that we had reserved thru the help of our hotel in Sydney, was waiting for us so we could get around a lot easier. It was fun seeing the country side, the ocean, animals, vegetation, and being so close to the ocean.     ... the taxi they ask for me to join, 'we're going for a swim' they giggle. Over a hotels gates I follow then we stand in front of a warm pool, a couple jump in, as I empty my pockets a push from behind sends me tumbling head first, the water sooths the drunk body, floating as if on a cloud. We run around the grounds for more pools until heading back.

    Friday morning slams into my face, the world spins and so does my head, the temperature hits +40oC, sore I lay ...

    ... red dust yet again. WINDJANA GORGE What a fun place...very hot and dusty but beautiful. We arrived late afternoon and hiked with our torches into the gorge to sit and wait for the show.....around dusk, hundreds of bats came flying down to the waterhole to drink, catch insects etc....quietly waiting for them were dozens of freshwater crocodiles...SNAP..bye bye bats.     Even though I wore sunscreen on my legs, I got very sunburnt and probably a shade darker. Luckily I wore a long sleeve top and hat, so it was only my legs that suffered.
