... at Broome Port Jetty, where the tide was still low in search for turtles. We don't go kayaking much, and when we do its quite a leisurely paddle. The water temperature was warm, but hubby thought it was cold. Either way, the aqua blue water was beautiful but a little bit choppy.
Richard our kayak host is very easy going, and chats to all of us. He has a good sense of humor and tells us some very interesting ...
... didn't seem overly concerned but it was the highlight of our morning.... and kept us out of the water today :)
After that the day was a little less exciting with a brief shopping trip and a call with the tax accountant to finalise our tax returns.
Tomorrow is a big day for Scotland as we await the result of the independence vote - too close to call they say. Will be watching with interest from afar....
... tonight. The footy game between the Dockers and Port Adelaide will be television tonight we we settle in to the watch the game which starts at 5pm. By about 7 we're starting to get a bit hungry so out come those beautiful prawns with some dipping sauce and we make complete pigs of ourselves.
