Our last stop has been Gatlinburg, TN. We enjoyed our visit to the Dixie Stampede and Dollywood. Jim looked all over the place, high and low but never saw Dolly! We ran into the Compton's from Lexington who happened to be here too. We enjoyed having dinner together with Ben, Suzanne, Charlie and Nancy. It was nice to have friends to enjoy a meal with again.

It will be wonderful to be back in South Carolina even though there will be lots of changes from ...

Oh my, what a shock! But let me begin at the beginning When we left Chattanooga, we high tailed it for the Cherohala Skyway. We couldn't see the scenery at all and riding ninths driving rain ...

WELL.....A few years back Ed and I took a trip to Spain with Sister Albertine~ it was a wonderful trip (as is every trip with her) !!! From the beginning I was fascinated with this "Camino de Santiago". I think I spent more time reading about the Camino when preparing for that ...

... was thankfully a lot less
    than it has been.

We also met Doug, Heathers husband, who
had been working shift work so we hadn't met him the day before. I
made sausage rolls to add to dinner which everyone seemed to like and
then after dinner we had smores around the fire pit. The kids went in
after a bit but the adults stayed and chatted until after dark. So
nice to be able to stop and connect with people, we all had a ...
