The Israel Museum was very beautiful, well done, large and overwhelming. A lot of information to take in. The Shrine of the Book is awesome in the true sense of the word. Inspiring awe in the spiritual beauty of the building, both inside and out, and in the age and importance of the parchments inside. Actual scrolls from time periods I learned about in Hebrew school.

Here was the place where Abraham dug a well, and made an oath, in Genesis 21 v 30-31. Then in 1917, the Light Horsemen took Beer Sheba from the Turks, and also were desperate for the water from the wells! We found this all over Israel - instances where the Truth of the Bible comes alive before our eyes! We were so privileged to see all these things.
At last it was time to hit the road for Jerusalem - this was very exciting!
Today, Daniel, my father, and I started with the early morning service called Shacharis, at the Kotel. We put our Tefilin on, and our Tallis', and got to it. Daniel was honored with carrying the beautiful Torah to the group, which was used for the daily Torah reading, and my dad got an Aliyah, which is an honor to say the prayer for opening the reading and closing the reading.
