... our minds in a million years. It's the guests. I know, can you believe it? Let us explain. At least 95% of the guests in the America parks appreciate what they are taking part in. Many of them are in awe of the detail of the parks, appreciate the over the top cast members, and, most importantly, pay nothing but respect to their surroundings and the general rules/culture of the park. Unfortunately, the guests out here do not behave in the ...
Disneyland Resort Paris, Picardie, France mikeandharmony... in a world free of a tour group let me at least experience the local life a little bit. Something is definitely different about Tunis and I was having a hard time placing it until I was on one of my two balconies last night. I was watching the city wind down for the evening along Avenue Habib Bourguiba (it's a desirable location so I had to place drop a little to impress!) and it hit me...not once had I heard the sound of the muezzin over ...
Paris, Île-de-France, France atlpilot36... will travel in about 2 years, and Julie has a friend who owns a chateau in France, somewhere???? she can't remember where. We are able to rent it, and hope we can use it as a base to hire a car, and travel France, Italy and beyond!!!! I need to start checking it all out, as Julie won't....so I am the designated planner, with her inputing info as I find it.
Paris, Île-de-France, France vic.lovell... badly, but I only have one full day left in Paris and I can't take it on the plane. That would just be silly. It was weird, because it was called "Petit Brie" which means small brie. I also went out tonight with two very nice American girls that I met at a party here. Actually all the Americans I've met here have been reallllly nice. Anyway, we went to a Thai restaurant to satisfy my cravings for Newtown thai. Of course, I was disappointed. It really ...
Paris, Île-de-France, France timrie... and parents who all affirmed that they saw absolutely nothing...until I thought I had some rare skin disease. So it came as a relief that I finally knew the reason for the sleepless nights but it is indeed very annoying using the chemical shampoos and nit-comb. So next time I go to the orphanage, I will not offer my hair as a wig for funny photos and have to push the little girl away when she offers to ...
Paris, Île-de-France, France losbrowns... windy. and the usual sights, to the louvre. For dinner, snails, french onion soup and sander fish, mmmm. Next day to Notre Dame, Sacre Cour and the Artists Square, mont martre and that night to a meeting all in French, the bros and sis's were all lovely and so friendly. flew to Dublin next morning.
Paris, France alannareevesWe made it to paris! we sat in first class on the train, that was very nice. found our hotel, the owners are very nice. we have to walk up 4 floors of steep, spiral stairs to get to our room, which is quite a feat considering that my bag weights about as much as i do. anyway, since we didn't write about what we did yesterday I will today. Yesterday we had a very relaxing day (compared to the other days). we went to the hash, hemp, and marijuana museum. It was ...
Paris, France copperboom... rid you of cellulite Oh, and last night there was another great find. If you don't know, I am a huge Orangina fan. The orange drink that's similar to 7-up and orange juice mixed together. Don't get it confused with our US version, as what they have over here is better. Maybe real cane sugar? Something is definitely different. Anyways, I have been spending way too much money on them daily, and stepped into a little supermarket and found a pack of 8 of them for only 4.69 ...
Paris, France gep... the exit- pass lines once AGAIN!.. we're just so pimp! Afterwards- BAGUETTE and Nutella Crepe time! We decided to eat right in front of the Notre Dame- which was the closest thing we could find to a nice picnic-esque park like lunch stop! No complaints though~ On-ward we went to the land of shopping! I fell in love slash discovered my new favorite store to shop at - ZARA.. so apparently they have it in the U.S. but I've never ...
Paris, France laurascontiki... I stumble upon a pot of gold, nonetheless I had a wonderful time. Our first stop was made at the Kilmainham Gaol jailhouse. The dreadful weather conditions allowed for a most insightful visit. With our socks sopping wet and our bodies very chilled we agreed that no matter how great the famine and no matter how tasty the potato, the Irish police were not a force to be reckoned with. We then decided to warm ourselves up at a local pub and I had my first taste of the ...
