... out everything about the area. Well done Neville - despite your technical problems you delivered a very interesting, insightful presentation. It's now Sunday and we drove to Cumbria to see my Cousin Laura and Family. An interesting tour of the region by Dominic and a delightful pub lunch. My "tourist" highlight was going to Alnwich Castle (Northumberland). Harry Potter movie 1 and 2 were partly filmed here. What an outstanding ...

... from our group. I found someone who lived in the building where I was staying. So we walked home together and I found my way to my bed. Which for a long time was not looking very likely at all. The lesson from this night, I am essentially a homing pigeon. Get me drunk and set me loose and I will always make it home. I feel like this theory might be tested when I get to Amsterdam and berlin... But for now I believe. The next few days have been a little calmer, but no ...

... and their happiness was infectious.

Saturday came in that way that it does, and though I missed out on the dawn swim in the lake on account of not being mental, I was still excited about the day to come.

When Vinny phoned me to tell me that there a bit of a cock up on the old transportation front, and could Karim and I and our female companions please drive our rental car to the lake rather than try and squeeze into ...
