Heute moechte ich ein bisschen etwas ueber den Lifestyle hier in Jamaika schreiben... der ist naemlich wirklich ein wenig gewoenungsbeduerfig...
Ich dachte, bevor nach nach Jamaika kam: sicher geht es in Jamaika ein bisschen ruhiger zu... wohl auch beim Arbeiten... immer schoen eins nach dem Anderen... ich glaubte, dass koennte mir recht gut gefallen... habe mich aber getaeuscht... in mir selbst, nicht in Jamaika...

I was awake early again about 0400 ,so I got dressed for the gym and crept out with my laptop so I could spend a little while before 0600 gym catching up with email, tragic news about troubles in the UK and talking on MSN.

... you could find from clothes, to jewelry, to magnets, paintings, and figurines made out of wood of all kind. There was a lot of locals selling their art and crafts. We bought a couple of souvenirs here. Best of all we met this guy selling figurines after I bought a parrot statue from him, he gave me a giraffe figurine as gift. I loved it. I love buying items the locals made themselves. I get to take a bit of the country back with me and also support the locals ...
