    ... 8220;South African girls’ brunch” was organised by Sarina through the Meet-up website. I think the staff got a bit confused when we arrived individually and said we were meeting friends but didn’t know what they looked like! It was great to speak a bit of Afrikaans, eat some vetkoek stuffed with curry and I stocked up on some biltong, droewors, dried guava fruitroll and an Inside Story from their shop section – yum!     Day #5: Ice Cream!

    This Tuesday was the day we went to Ben & Jerry's which was actually much cooler than I thought it would be. Our guide was very funny, yet informative and we learned a lot and got to sample a small cup of the ice cream.
